UPDATE!

In response to COVID-19, I will be offering Telehealth visits for new and established patients. Currently, insurance companies are broadening their coverage for telemedicine. This means you do not need telemedicine coverage on your plan during the COVID-19 national health crisis in order to have a telemedicine visit*. For those who do not have insurance, my time of service fee applies. Sliding scales are available.

How Telemedicine works

  • On the day of your appointment, you will receive an email with a link to the portal.

  • Click the LINK at the time of your appointment and you will enter the “waiting room.”

  • When Dr. Scheel is ready to start the visit, she will initiate the visit and your video and audio will connect.

  • At the end of the appointment, Dr. Scheel will collect your credit card information for your copay. Your credit card will be run at the end of day. All numbers are encrypted, shared through HIPPA compliant systems, and are destroyed after. If this is still uncomfortable for you, you may choose to not pay the copay and you will be billed on a later date.

I will continue to keep my door open at Simply Natural Medicine for regular appointments in person. I ask that you please contact me if you are symptomatic with a fever, cough, fatigue or other respiratory symptoms prior to your appointment so we can assess together and determine the appropriate next steps. Your health care is important and necessary - whether that be counseling, updating your plan, reviewing labs, acupuncture, massage - please continue to care for yourself and I look forward to seeing you!
