Leti Rae

Leti Rae was born October 26th, 2024. She was 8 pounds, 21 inches, and a happy and healthy baby! My birth story didn’t go as planned, but I’m grateful to share that both Leti and I are doing well.

Moving to Wisconsin.

Many people told me how much life changes after bringing a child into the world, but it’s truly something I needed to experience firsthand to fully understand. Life is no longer just about what I want or need — it’s about what my family needs to thrive. For us, that means being in Wisconsin, where Leti will grow up surrounded by her grandparents and where Walker and I will have a stronger support system and larger community.

This decision comes with a significant sacrifice, as I deeply love Oregon — its people, my patients, and the life I’ve been so fortunate to build here. Saying goodbye is incredibly difficult, but I hope it’s not forever, and that Oregon can remain a meaningful part of my life.

Thinking of you.

I understand that news of a baby can bring mixed emotions for those who may be facing struggles with infertility. For those of you who are hoping to bring a little one into your family – I hope my joy does not bring sadness to you. Please know that my heart is with you. There are no words for your struggles - infertility simply sucks. It is by far one of the hardest journey’s no one chooses to be a part of.
